Deterioration PrologueMy name is Samantha and this is my life.
Two weeks ago we talked about it, but I really didn't think this would happen. I walked in the front door and was handed a blade. My family all sat there in all seriousness holding their weapons. A gun, poison, a knife, and my blade. I kind of guessed I should have been scared, but I felt nothing. My brother sat on the bed, staring at the knife in his hand contemplatively. He looked frightened. A whole three years older than me and he looked ready to cry. This was my family. My mom, dad, and my brother sat there. My sister wasn't there, she was in college, and no one knew what had happened to my other brother. My sister wasn't a part of this, no one wanted her to have to deal with this. Why did I have to?
I ran downstairs crying and I could hear my brother screaming he couldn't do it. The pain in his voic
The Lock Down Denial Chapter 2"Mom, I'm leaving for school, see ya later!" Matt screamed as he walked out the door biting his nails. He was nervous. Of course only one person was a master at making Matt worry, and Danny was succeeding at it today.
Matt pulled out his phone and sent one more text. 'where r u??? jesus danny!!!!' Danny had a habit of getting wasted and waking up in random people's beds. It was just what he did and Matt had, more recently, come to accept that.
Matt urgently grabbed his phone the minute it vibrated. 'sorry. u know. doing the usual stuff. ill see you at school. Matt sighed as he walked in the doors of the high school. A couple girls stopped him on the way in to try and meaninglessly flirt with him. Apparently they hadn't understood it when Danny told everyone at school that Matt is his property.
Danny walked over and said hi, like usual. And also like us
The Lock Down Denial Chapter 1Danny groaned, rubbing his head which was currently aching because of his massive hangover. He stretched his arms and looked around at his surroundings, finding that he wasn't in his room... rather, a pink fortress. He smirked.
Oh, another monday morning.
He looked at the sleeping figure beside him, seeing the brunette from last night. This time she was a girl. It didn't matter which gender... Danny could snag 'em and shag 'em anyway.
Which was good... because he liked sex too much.
The clock read 8AM, which was good, because he wouldn't be late for school. The honey-blonde wasn't very smart- getting wasted on weekdays and all that. He pulled on his pants, buttoned up his shirt and tied up his converse, then made his exit out the window.
...Don't worry, it was a one story house.
As he walked, he took his cellphone out of his pocket and saw that he'd gotten five miscalls from Matt and three text messages from him, smirking at his phone. He started typing away a reply.
'where r u??? j
Ithslandia -Chaper 10 - Mathew"I wanna...um...deciding things is too hard, Danny! There is a reason I always make you decide things!" I said trying to think of something, anything to do. There was so much, how was I supposed to choose just one thing?
"Matt, you need to learn how to do things on your own!" Danny teased.
"MATTHEW! DANIEL!" Things around us began to fade. We were only in the park. Why do good things always have to come to an end?
"We are over here!" Danny yelled. As our moms started coming towards us I noticed someone behind them. He was running and carrying an empty bottle. It was Danny's dad. As I went to pull Danny's sleeve and point it out to him I realized he already saw him. "MOM!" Danny screamed.
Mr. Caliendo ran over to Danny's mom and hit her. I looked down at the snow where she fell and saw red. Why couldn't Ithslandia be our reality? Why d
Ithslandia - Chaper 9 - Daniel"Matt," I looked back at the said brunette and smirked at him, "Stop spacing out, we're not getting any younger!" I grabbed his hand, which got his attention and we started following Rieme.
I couldn't help but be amazed at everything around us. If it was real, well, we'd be rich, but we're not. The bedrooms were just as awesome as the rest of the house, and the beds seemed even larger than my room! The faerie smiled at us and then started her cheerful chatter yet again.
"Okay so that's the whole rundown!"
"Really? This place is huge!" I exclaimed and then looked at Matt, and looked at the faerie again.
"So what should we do first?"
"I dunno," Rieme shrugged, "but I want to go to the candy room!!!!!!!" I could see the bits of drool fall out of her mouth and rolled my eyes.
"Hey Matt, what do you want to do?" I glanced at him and nudged him, then he tinged pink.
"What? Me decide?"
"Yup, you should! Everything can't come down to me yano..."
Matt looked down at his feet nervously. I hope I

Danny and I looked over and there was a girl standing, or more accurately "floating" right in front of us.
"Who are you?" Danny asked.
"What's it to you?" she looked more carefully at both of us, like she was studying us, "Oh sorry! You guys must be the masters. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Rieme, and I basically run this place."
"Oh. Ok. Uh, I'm Danny and this is Matt," Danny said as he dragged me out from behind him. I'm not very good with meeting new people.
"Ha! You guys say that like I didn't know! I totally didn't forget the names I was given. Anyway you guys want a grand tour?" she was constantly twirling her hair like she was nervous or something.
"Are you ok?" I asked, almost so quietly I didn't think she'd hear.
"Huh? Oh my god you speak! Dude the people who gave me the rundown on you were wrong. Uh, yeah I'm ok. Kind of. Yeah..." her voice trailed off as she got distracted.
"Okay so this here is the basics floor.
Ithslandia - Chapter 7 - DannyOne season I really like is winter. Snow is fun to play with, I guess, but what I really liked was that my dad was never at home. He was usually at work so we lived peacefully without him, until of course he came back.
But now he's gone so I guess everything's okay. I still love that season though. I guess it's just so pretty to see falling snowflakes and catch them with your tongue.
When I closed my eyes and opened them back again with Matt, instead of the sun shining on us with the grass lush against our feet, I envisioned snow falling down. There was already a winter blanket below us and it was so white, so soft and so pure. I looked at Matt and he was smiling too.
Ithslandia is everything we wanted it to be.
Pretty soon I found myself on the ground and then I formed a snowball and threw it at Matt. For some reason even though we weren't in full winter gear, we weren't cold even though in winter it really is supposed to be. I guess this place is just magical. Even with our heat we d
